I just started composition of functions and I my formal observation was two days away.
The kids struggled with the concept. In addition to the lesson I incorporated cut and paste activity and a nice dice activity. I posted QR around the room where kids could check their answers. It was not a quite class. but I can say kids were working.

QR codes in class
I started using QR codes in my class, I like the engagement of the kids. they are so attach to their phones that gave me an opportunity to use them as a tool in the class.
Use 1: to self check answers
for any worksheet I type the answer for 1 question copy and paste it in a QR generator. I print the QR, label the question number and posted around the classroom. Today there were 9 QR for the kids to check their answers. If the student did not get the correct answer and after checking his her work came to me for help. It took off many of "did I get it right?", " Can You check if I got the right answer?"
Use 2: To direct the kids to a google form used as scavenger hunt
If you want to check it out here is one of them
Or if you prefer the link
That's all for now :)
